I sell to the southeast all the time. The issue is dealers down there aren’t very competitive to the northeast. You’ll most likely do better just using a broker that sells nationwide but using a dealership in the northeast.
Example
Tundras in Florida have a $999-1200 doc fee. Toyota care for $800. Then a bunch of unnecessary options installed like car guards, dash cams etc to pad profits.
In the north my doc fees are 200-500. Toyota care is free and there’s rarely added BS options.
So shipping for 800-1000 makes much more sense.
