Leasing a car from Mercedes Benz in Pleasanton this week was an absolutely fantastic experience, and I canât help but share all the details. So, hereâs the scoop on how it all went down.
I started my journey by getting in touch with Joey through LeaseHackr, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer. Joeyâs communication was no-nonsense and refreshingly efficient. I told him exactly what I was looking for and what I could afford, and he wasted no time in coming back to me with options that fit the bill. Itâs not every day you find a car dealer whoâs as upfront and to the point as Joey, and thatâs the kind of experience I enjoy.
Now, hereâs where it gets exciting. Joey managed to work his magic and get me into an EQE in the same week. Yes, you read that right! I was so excited that I even flew from Los Angeles to San Francisco just to pick up the car. Throughout the entire process, Joey was all about transparency. There were no hidden fees or last-minute surprises. What he quoted me was exactly what I ended up paying. It was clear that Joey genuinely cares about his customers, and hereâs a prime example: he threw in a free charger for my long drive back to LA. That was a real lifesaver, and I couldnât have been more grateful.
Now, letâs talk about Dana, the Finance Manager. She was an absolute rockstar. Dana took care of all the paperwork and explained every little detail of the contract. What really impressed me was her level of preparedness. If I made a mistake signing something, she already had an extra copy ready in her drawer. Talk about attention to detail!
I canât forget to give a shout-out to Tim, the manager at the dealership. He was super helpful and great to work with as well.
In a nutshell, my experience at Mercedes Benz in Pleasanton was top-notch. Joey, Dana, and Tim make an incredible team that goes the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. You purchased two MB cars? One from Chau and one from MB of Pleasanton?
For what its worth, probably nothing, MB Pleasanton wanted 20k over for the eqs 580 suv when we were shopping end of last year. MB Walnut was msrp, but didnât have the one we wanted. Pleasanton actually had one in the spec we wanted too. Ended up picking up one somewhere else, in So Cal, without adm.

Going to a dealer, and going to a sales specialist is probably going to be two different experiences. Most of the other BMW, Audi, and Mercedes started playing games and none came close to the deals on the marketplace.

That EQS 580 SUV with 3rd row is black looks super sharp. Definitely needs the shadowline package though.
I just had to share our awesome experience with Joey.
My parents BMW X3 lease was up and it was time to figure out what to do. Had previously used the resources on Leasehacker to lease 4 different cars and knew this was the place to start. I found Joey on Mercedes EQ threads and could not be happier. Sent him a text on EQEs and got a quick response and he made the whole process a breeze. Gave him the options we needed (Not black, AMG Trim, 21inch AMG wheels, Leather, Drivers Assistance, Laser Lights) and he quickly narrowed it down to two cars. I asked for terms on one of them and they were outstanding.
Even though my folks live quite far from the dealership, Joey made sure everything was sorted before they even got there. They just took a 90min 105mile Uber ride (that was surprisingly only $135), knowing all the paperwork and details were taken care of.
When they arrived, Joey had everything ready to go for a signature. No games, stories or surprises at all. The paperwork was a breeze, and he even set them up with a tech to show them all the cool features of their new fully specâd EQE350+ SUV.
Joeyâs transparency, responsiveness, and efficiency really stood out. We couldnât be happier with our new car, and we owe a big thanks to Joey. Highly, highly recommended!

I just would like to share my awesome experience with Joey.

Very responsive since the first minute I texted him on Friday evening 11/24. From here, we were able to decide that EQB 300 was what we were looking for. Joey initiated all the verification and paperwork process. I was able to complete all that in 1 hour. Since it was already late in the evening, we agreed on the car pick up for the next morning.

On Saturday 11/25, I took BART (local Bay Area Public Transportation) with my family to go to the dealership since it is ~1 hour away from our home. Joey picked us up from the BART station and drove us to the dealership. At dealership, our car as well as all documents to be signed were ready. It only took me ~30 minutes to complete all the document walkthrough, signing, Mercedes Me and Chargepoint setup.
All the involved staffs (Joey, his manager - Andy Lenci, and finance manager - Sami Wadood) are very professional. I enjoy dealing with them and will work with them again in the future for any Mercedes purchase and lease.
