Noob help on BMW lease pls

,

Humor me please, which 8?
How do you know what the market will be when I sell it, after financing it?

nyclife does not have any 430xi currently, apparently

They’re mod flex (i or xi) if still modifiable. 99% it’s gonna be a 2023 though so allocations are still meager.

As for the market. There’s no telling what it will look like but if cost to lease over finance plus gap then finance still is the better option flexibility wise.

Ok now that makes more sense. Thanks for the response.

Wonder why he still shows one. but now it’s 3.5%

Where do you see he shows one?
Which 8 cars are worth leasing now btw?

What I always recommend is look at your total outlay over the 36-months. How much would you spend to lease it in total? 36-mo into a 60 or 72 loan (whichever has the ideal trade off of rate vs payment for you), how much have you paid in interest/tax + purchase price?

Then look at the delta and make some educated guesses on whether or not you think the vehicle will be worth more or less than that number. And that’s even if you must have a new car every 3-years or think you’d probably keep it longer if you didn’t have an expiring lease.

For example:
$52k purchase price
$31k to lease it
Taxes/interest of $6k if you were to finance it

So $58k minus $31k equals $27k. Do you think your $52k BMW will be worth more or less than $27k 36-mo in?

As for the 8 cars, it’s not a scientific process, but cars/trucks such as the following are some examples (not a comprehensive list, not applicable in all regions, some require ordering or sheer luck and there may be other one-offs now and then):

  • Nissan Frontier S/SV (better if you 1-pay 18-mo term)
  • Wrangler 4xe (must order)
  • Nissan Murano S/SV (same as for Frontier)
  • Nissan Altima SV/SR (same)
  • Lexus RX outgoing model (decent discount, ok payment, maybe with MSDs)
  • Gladiator Willys Sport (sometimes, depends on programs, must order)
  • Niro EV S
  • Toyota Venza LE if at MSRP
  • Corolla SE if at MSRP

Thanks. Leasing seems to be a better option… and I am getting better deals with dealerships than with brokers… factoring in Broker fee, etc
Whats the best value luxury car/make/model I can get now? A luxury car with most reasonable prices and discounts now?

Looks to me like you want everyone to do your work for you.

why not just use a broker and eliminate all the stress…that broker fee is worth it because of the stress and work that it eliminates on your end

Yeah, noobs should at least demonstrate they know how to populate and use the LH calc.

How many times are you going to keep asking the same question?

Comes out to the same price basically

Yeah but then you don’t have to do much on your part besides filling an app and sending over info…Also your in NY…

OK So what do you mean?

Broker - Fill out form online and possible sign online. Walk in and get car.

Dealer - Talk to Dealer, wait an hour, talk to Dealer’s Manager, wait another hour. Fill out form in office and wait an hour. Then going into Finance, and sign and wait an hour. Then walk out to get car, and wait an hour.

See the diff? Is 5 hours worth the broker fee?

Should I renew my BMW CCA? I signed up for membership to get a discount on my 2019 BMW lease. Should I renew my BMW CCA again as it is expiring now after 3 years…?

meaning your not getting a deal without putting in the effort

Considering it’ll at least cover your broker fee (if you choose to go that way), yes.
