Your dealer is able to (or will be able to) apply the rebate at point of sale? Or will it still be a post purchase rebate for the buyer to apply for?

I believe it depends on when the sale actually is consummated. At some point this summer the dealers are supposed to be able to apply it at the dealership. Until that happens itās on the customer, so it would be a post sale rebate in that case, not a non-taxable one.
