It seems you underestimated your usage even before taking the new job (one year left but only 4k miles)
This is definitely something to keep in mind before signing the Rivian lease

For sure! By the time I get the Rivian, it will be a second car, so I can keep it lower miles but good to keep in mind. That has to be another 2 years at least until they ramp up production and I receive my allocation.
At this point it will probably be better to just keep the CX-5 until lease end, considering the neg. eq.
Rivian R2 orders wonât even start being fulfilled until mid-late 2026 so it will definitely be a while before it comesâŚprobably wonât see it until sometime 2027. It will be a secondary car by the time I get it.
