This forum has been extremely helpful! I have been talking with a Cadillac dealer here in Texas on a CTS -V Sport lease. I can’t get the calculator to match up (off by $35). Can someone give me a hand? Thanks in advance!

I am not interested in paying $1,000 for a $65k car but am trying to learn the ins and outs of leasing so I can negotiate better.
What’s with the line items for dealer adds and mileage penalty?
The dealer adds are for an appearance package (window tint, pin stripe, etc.) which I plan to take off.
The mileage fee is a good one. This is a dealer demo that currently has $5,600 miles on it. When I asked how much they reduced the price of the car because it was a demo they told me $2,500. Then I realized that they are charging me for the mileage on the car (5600 x $0.20 = $1,120).
Yeah that’s one of the worst deals I’ve ever seen. Do you actually have GMS?
Yes - I have a family member that can get it for me.
Anyone have any insight as to where my calculator went wrong?
