Never used a double stroller. Was even given one as a handme down and promised it would be really useful. Never used it. Kid was 3 when the newborn arrived.
But YMMV. I can see it being useful if the next oldest is very young.
Funny thing we have used it for the last 6 years. Our kiddos fall asleep in car fairly easy and it help transfer them home especially ina double where 3rd goes into the storage basket😂

I had to upgrade the size of my SUV last summer when I was pregnant with my 3rd. Looked at every option it feels like and ended up with a Honda Pilot Elite. It was the most practical for us with so many car seats and was much cheaper than other options that weren’t as functional. $500/mo including tax, first month only at signing (june of 2020)
