Will not discriminate!
Have to replace my lease this weekend. Been on the fence about what to get. Almost grabbed a infiniti q50 , but numbers were not what they used to be( at the dealers I contacted ) my vehicle goes back tuesday next week.
Considering Q50 red sport17/18 (18 preferred) or Q70
BMW 5 SERIES would love 6 series gran coupe, but I think we are too far off
AUDI A6/A7
LEXUS GS
VOLVO S90/V90
Jaguar XF
I appreciate any insight on what is currently the best option. Dollar for dollar.
Thank you all in advance. This is my new favorite site!
From what I’ve seen lately it appears the Volvo S90 would be easiest for bang for the buck.
Seen a couple base model Audi A6 for cheap.
Then from there maybe the q50 next?
If you are tristate and looking to move fast and cut the bs should probably hit up @nyclife he would be able to tell you the best deal/deals.
These are definitely “performance sedans”.
I’m guessing you are saying it sarcastically. I understand the V is the wagon variant of the sedan. But both vehicles available with a turbocharged 300 hp engine , to me they would qualify as peformance. More than say a subaru legacy or outback with a CVT tranny and less powerful engines. I don’t need rs7 like performance. Just something enjoyable to drive, not something to simply ride in.
Ouch … you insulted Ursus twice, without realizing. Once when you bashed his beloved dream 300hp car and the second when you bashed his current ride (subaru).
As for Tristate AWD sedan, the A6 advertised here is your best bet, no fuss, no muss and deal done in 5 minutes.
if I insulted anyone. I drove the outback with a 4 cylinder and my kid loved playing around in it. I actually considered buying it and still will if I can’t find something. I know I can get one for 250/month at a dealer 15 minutes from my home.its just not my first choice.
As far as what I have come up with so far, Infiniti q50 for 375 a month with 1700 out of pocket is still the best. Volvo’s around me are 500+ with 2500 out of pocket for S90 with basic options. I’m guessing its harder to buy AWD in New England around this time of year. Probably easier to strike a deal on a convertible .
SO I am still looking roundtable suggested the E300 demo/loaners. I am awaiting numbers on some of those. It looks like the A6 someone had mentioned was sold(that would have fit nicely).
any others you guys see.
Maybe, David. Maybe. But how can you even talk about Outback 2.5i in the same sentence with E300, A6, etc?
certainly not in the same realm, but if I can get a 2.5 subie. with the savings I would be able to get another car as a little driver. like a BRZ…
But first choice is AWD sedan
Ursus- which model do you suggest for the lease ?
2 Subarus will cost you around $700. Sure you are up to it?
250 for a 2.5 outback and 300 for a BrZ i asked a few weeks ago when I was there. But let’s stay on task I would prefer one nice sedan.
I own the FRS (BRZ) and boy is it a spirited drive with great handling and surprising amount of room. if you want speed the BRZ is not gonna get you very satisfied like a Q50 would or even a WRX for that matter.
Let’s not. You have no clue what you want and I don’t believe that you must have a new car by 10/10. Otherwise, you would have jumped on S90 by Sep 30 or A6 from @Precisionautoleasing
Ursus, I said exactly what I want. My lease is due back on 10/10.
Without a doubt I would have grabbed that s90, but I only found this site 2 days ago. The quotes I received from the local volvo dealers were not even close. They told me 2500 due 537 a month for 12k 36m on a 56 k car.
I told them no thank you that was last week of September.
And as far as the a6, that car was sold also.
You will never get a good deal if you keep asking dealers for quotes. You need to work on your deals and do your homework, instead of posting all over in 100 different threads in hopes that someone brings you something-you-don’t-know-what on a plate. Good luck with that. Or, for $250, you can hire a broker who will deliver by 10/10.
You’ve stated you want a performance AWD sedan, yet I’ve seen you ask about a 320i, RX350 and several Subaru’s (one being a RWD coupe). Sure doesn’t sound like you know what you want.
It’s always been a performance awd sedan. For 300 a month I would grab a 3 series with x drive which was what i thought that thread was (not just rwd) or an rx350 for sure, but not my first choice.
That’s always been and still is the plan. And I would have put a 3.6R legacy on the list but I know the outbacks lease better. But that’s not what I want.
Seems like you still don’t know what you want. Good luck with your search by 10/10.
Don’t get too caught up in the forum deals, it’s hard coming with an idea of what you want and then getting distracted by the many different deals happening across any brands. Focus down on the brand or two you enjoyed driving most and start grinding deals on them.
siejammy, my problem is I’m not brand specific. All of the vehicles I mentioned would fit the needs i have. Im still hoping to find something tomorrow. I am dedicating the day to it.
