Hi all, I am fighting for a Mercedes 2020 GLC300 4matic SUV, It’s my first time to try to lease a car also my first time to buy a new car. I did my homework for leasing, thx to leasehackr! I tried to contact several dealers and get a few not so satisfying deals. Take this one for example:
MSPR: $45,495
Selling price: $42,495
Incentive: $500
MF: 0.00079(Initially she gave me 0.00109, after I pointed out base MF should be 0.00079 she said she can get that for me, so I assume MF will be 0.00079 which is the base MF from edmunds)
RV: 55%
Term: 36months/10k miles
Fees: $1095 acquisition fee+$459 doc fee+$5 title prep fee+$75 title fee+$35 MA inspection sticker+$155 MA plates=$1,824
MSD: 0(I haven’t talked about putting MSD but definitely gonna put some to reduce MF)
DAS: $2,481(Fees and first month payment)
Monthly payment: $557 with tax
I know this is not a good deal, it’s not even 10% discount, what I am looking for is my monthly payment to be less than $500 with tax, is that even possible? When I try to push forward with this dealer I got “Because of the limited inventory, production cut, and changes to Mercedes-Benz incentive and structure, the discounts have changed from what they used to be.” And she said next month it will be even worse, is that really the deal or she was just bluffing? So what should I do next, I know I have to work on the selling price, the fees seem reasonable I think, any comments will be appreciated, thank you!
BTW, I live in MA near Boston.
Have you seen his deals? He has one new and one demo GLC300. Add $500 broker fee to them and compare with yours. @nyclife
Did the dealership sent you the offer with lower MF or it was just mentioned verbally? That’s another $769 difference.

Just mentioned verbally but I used .00079 for the calculator. Just checked the deals of the broker, seems pretty good, these deals are all in NY/NJ, is it okay if I live in MA? Thank you!
@Bostoncarconcierge is based in Boston, he doesn’t have a merc post off the top of my head, but he knows that market better than almost anyone.
That’s like a 6-7% discount, it’s definitely not good. MA doesn’t allow you to have papers if in state right? You’d need to get your mass plate and reg done before taking the car home if I remember correctly from voohloo.
It says NY/NJ/PA/CT on the title so MA might be out of his limit but you can use those numbers as a baseline where you can be at. Try to get close to 10%.
Yes I think so, thank you!
Sure, so is 10% a good deal for this model?
Yes it’s a good deal for a new car.
No problem, good luck with the hunt. You can also look at X3 3.0i deals if you like that car.
Get another deal today, better than the old one. Deal or not?

I know this is not a good deal but it is the best I’ve got so far. I think I can get another $100 off MSRP but that would be all. It seems that Mercedes doesn’t offer a lot at this time, I even start to question if it is a good time to purchase a Mercedes now. I can wait till the end of the month or even next month,
What do you guys think?
Any help? I need the car so much!!!
If this doesn’t include any incentives and is an actual 10.1% pre incentive discount then…
IMO, anything > 10% off by yourself in this market is respectable. If you want the car that badly I wouldn’t think twice at this discount. Keep in mind that a broker may be able to get a little better but their fee will be ~1% of this cars value. So your current deal is an ~11.1% broker deal. Also, brokers typically include MSDs with MB pricing which is another reason at surface level their monthly may look a lot better.
I’m also assuming you confirmed MF is not marked up… then good to go
Glad to hear that, it does take me some time to get this deal, and yes MF is not marked up. I’ll probably sign this. Thank you!
Recently the glc300 lease has no good deal. I am in silicon valley. I got a number for 36/10k: 1500 + 35 * 512 last week for a car of MSRP 46500
