They tried to screw me with this whole new offer for the IS 200t I looked at.
I posted last night about the calculations I made to get to $599 when the selling price was $39,700. Theyāre not just adding the $6500 in negative equity. It looks like they are also adding in another $2,700.
And yāall were saying they did me absolutely no favor by offering the trade the car for market value.
Back when they were asking me what I would like done, I said either get me into a leased vehicle or get me out completely, since Iād rather remain a customer. But, with this revelation, I would rather never again work with them.
And @skipper, I donāt have any contract to post at all.
You have to have a signed agreement. For the 84 month finance. They have to have given you a copy of all the paper work and signed documents with the prices. If you really donāt have that. You are more foolish than ever and I think you should always hire a broker for the rest of your life to negotiate a car trade on your behalf.

All you posted was a copy of your lease quotes that you got. Nothing else was posted. In an earlier comment, you say they put it into the āblack Lexus envelope they give you,ā so you have the contract somewhere where you signed your life away for 84 months
Werenāt you under water around 9k on your original trade in? I am sure they are attempting to add that back into the new lease, even with the new purchase in between. You really put yourself in a tough situation. Hope you find some reasonable way out, it just doesnāt seem possible.
There is another picture somewhere that has the payments, the APR.
I canāt take anymore pictures of it at this time because they kept all of the papers I had when I was there on Monday.
And @GOMD I was only under that much according to the trade-in value from KBB. Theyāre essentially offering to buy the NX for $35,897.
Why would they need your copy off the paperwork. They should have a copy of their own. Just Wow.

They likely didnāt keep it on purpose. I mean, they thought they were going to close the deal on the IS so they werenāt carrying it around.
Iāll have to ask for it back when I go there again, if itāll even matter after my final proposal to them.
Iām also thinking about streaming everything that happens on Facebook Live, but Iām still not 100% sure if itās a good idea and how they would take it.

My experience with all this is even more frustrating for me than it is for you guys.
