My first hack attempt MB C300 RWD not going well

Loaner with more than 6,000 miles. I was recommended by a friend to his salesman. I do not like it and below is the last “final” proposal by them.

The calculator has my proposal to them, pic is their answer. They budged on inflated acquisition fee, waived tint $500 fee, but despite my request, keep inflated MF and no MSD.
What is a value of a 3y service contract if they would add it to the offer ?

Past deals reported here are better for a basic c300, below $300.
I think I would wait unless they allow me to use MSDs now that they budged and offer the base MF rate, and if they can offer some goodies, like free maintenance, or ? Can you suggest ?

If you aren’t happy with the deal, then just walk away, or find another dealer. That’s the great thing about new cars and loaners, more often than not another dealer somewhere has something else you want, and might be willing to unload it.

No matter how good your negotiating skills are, can’t just strong arm down a dealer that isn’t willing to deal because he has no reason to. It sounds like they aren’t too motivated.

Ha, now the offer 1h before closing, with MF finally down to 0.00032 (like using 10MSDs) but they want $10k down. Not clear to me whether this is like a partial one payment lease and what would happen to the $10k if I total the car…

Absolutely no way on a $10k down. I’d just laugh, get up and be out the door if they presented me with that.

This was some mistake, At the end they accepted 10 MSD, appropriate MF, essentially I got them there what I suggested (see the calc link). Will be around $330 with tax monthly. Will pick up next day. They offered residualized 3y service prepayment, is it worth with MB ? With 10k/year I have 24k/3y miles left. This covers my basic commuting need.
Shall I switch to 12k, or rather pay at the end miles over, or as they promised - pull ahead in 2.5 years?

Is this in Arizona? 2020

@darksky 330 is e class territory I would walk away.

Hm, you are not making this easy. Wonder what nyclife can get/would say.

Its not e class territory, at least now. Still isn’t a good deal. You need at least another g off

Well I changed the title, as it is not going well again (RV issue).
I got the car today after they added free service, and lowered the cap cost accordingly, so it was $334 with 1st month payment, doc fee and registration to drive off.

Is this at least easily transferable after 6 months at $334/month with tax and free maintenance ?

I checked all sources before leaving, here and Edmunds but did not see until evening (lease signed) that today’s RV quote on Edmund is 6% better ?? for the same 36/10 (unless MBFS made a mistake and it will be corrected tomorrow).

Would MBFS accept a lease agreement dated today as valid with RV 59% instead of published 65% for March?
Can dealer touch RV or is it NON-CONFIGURABLE and hence I can request modification of -$80/month ?

If you signed before the end of the month, you’re locked in to Feb. You would have to convince the dealer to commit fraud, unwind the deal and then repurchase it at the new RV(Unless your dealer has some sort of 2-3 day return policy…most do not).

The dealer has no authority to change the RV…it is controlled by the bank.

No, lease is dated 3/1, I signed 3/1 evening before this unbelievable 6% jump in RV showed up on Edmunds.

Did MB end their programs for Feb on March 1, or Feb 28?

Deflated RV

Interesting. I wasn’t aware of that.

With that said, the question would be whether MB allows this or not. Can’t help you there.
