Curious about what kind of dealer discounts you guys may have been able to get recently.
Is it better to wait out more aggressive pricing in the fall/winter?

Buy used in an off season. Plenty bikes get bought as an impulse buy that you can scoop up at a decent discount.

I agree. Beginning of each year (january-march) probably the best time to scoop one up. Sometimes you can get lucky at the tail of the riding season, if you are up north.
I have had great success with FB marketplace.
