Money Factor for 2025 BMW i5m60

lmao ! Exactly a year ago. Thanks to my buddy @douglashowitzer too ! We were both zoned in on the same car lollllll

Because you were way over on payment for this car specially the fact that its a 2025 loaner with over 5k miles. Edit: Checked it out seems like only a month out of warrany if you went for a 36 month lease which isnt bad at all. But yes you definitely gotta work harder. Specially if you had been working with them for 2 months already, you need to cast your net outside of Florida.
Check other signed deals and then shoot for a target sales price for a similar discount (pre-incentive)

I have no luck with FL dealers lmao but why not right?

Lease that was certified. Yes I asked. No worrries for a three year lease

Man program sucks lol. Even at 25% and base MF (which will never happen with this dealer) and usual FL inceptions Im at $603 tax included with 1st DAS.

Wow. What did you assume for a selling price? Wow that would be great monthly payment before rebates?

$68K and no mark up MF.

I mean there is a CPO for $63k, with less miles: https://www.hendrickcars.com/used/BMW/2025-BMW-i5-6a899b9cac1852f701569dec074cbee7.htm

Granted, it had a lower MSRP. Yes I know this can’t be leased either, but for comparison.

Wow. Looks like less options but still much better price. Just so much more in competition in CA. Worth shipping to Florida.

Not really. Technically there are only 10 2025 i5 M60s for sale. 2025 BMW i5 M60 for sale

What I was saying was it’s a used car even if it qualifies for a new car lease. Most people on here try to be at 20% or more off pre incentives on units that don’t really sell. Other models you can be a little less. With most new models around the 10-13% off. The dealer effectively already sold the car once (punched out as loaner) and if they lease again, they will count the sale and prob make money elsewhere.

The other thing to consider is what is the car worth if the dealer wanted to send to auction and more than like MMR isn’t great, so if they can make money on someone who might not know all the inner workings they would rather do that.

There are just a lot of variables that can move the needle in your favor or the dealer.

I feel there are many times dealers will keep their list prices higher on cars that qualify for new car programs. So theoretically units like that may be a good comp for you & I, doesn’t mean the dealer cares. :man_shrugging:

Oh definitely..

Much thanks to the posters on this board. Learned a lot and keep learning.

at 90 days the car should go to auction. Maybe they will get $65K minus fees and transport. Sound right

They should have bent over backwards for me. And they acted like they were doing me a favor. The mark up on the MF they insisted on ticked me off.

Yes that’s usually how it works. The more captive finance options and incentives there are the more it’s worth to them.

Sure but it’s okay for them to mark up the MF, the counter for you is discount the car to offset the bump.

And they will absolutely die on the hill of ITS A BRAND NEW CAR.

Many such cases.

Their metal, their rules. :man_shrugging:t2:

2025 demo.

I gave a deal on a new I4m60. If they give me the right price, I may get both. Really different cars.

I am not getting any younger so I kind of want both. Need to get the wife to agree.

A reminder: Just because you are buying two cars from the same dealer, doesnt mean you are doing them a favor. If they are loosing money on one, they may not loose on the second. But if you are still working they with the same dealer, then they are not loosing money at all based on your last numbers.

So now you are finally figuring LHer out.

Nope two dealers.

I would like to get an i5 or i7 demo as an extra car. When deals are closer to your numbers. Since it won’t be a daily driver, I won’t care as much about the power, so the lower power will work. Use it for weekend trips. Would be great to get it before the holidays. Which broker specializes in bmw demos?

Bush won’t budge. Plus those tires are expensive and I will chew them up.
