Hello, I am in So-Cal. I understand market is a bit different here.
I have been trying to lease a SL 55 in the past two months for year-end and best I have gotten was 18% off sticker. Number wise, I would need to get close to 23-25% off sticker with January MF and Residuals to fit in my current financial situations. If anyone have gotten close to these numbers please let me know that it’s out there. And I am happily paying $1000 for a pass on deal. Or any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

As always check the Marketplace section first to see what brokers are offering to level set your discount target.
If the dealer is at 18% and you need 25% you’re almost $10k apart.
A 25% discount on a $150k SL55 would put me around $1200/mo with $1200 DAS. I suspect that would fit in a lot of folks’ financial situations (myself included) if discounts were that aggressive on SL’s right now.
Yeah! Been studying for quite some time here and big thanks to all the gains I’ve learned from the community. I was using broker deals as my starting point and hopes to achieve something better. Although there’s only 2-3 deals posted by brokers in the past 5 months in California. And they ranged from 12.5-17% off using their respective MF and Residual at time of post.
I did see a corporate demo lease posted here happened in 2024 for a MY22. There’s two corporate demos MY25 in my area. Anyone have any insight on how that might work?
At this point, I am just trying to see if anyone have done it, so I can stay hopeful. And if not, time to move on.

This thing somehow ended up at an Indigo Lamborghini shop after being dumped by a MB SoCal dealer. It’s getting booted around Indigo’s other exotic showrooms too.
Indigo owns MB Palm Springs. Try to get a hold of Cody Vierra there and see if they’ll lease to you after internally swapping this lot anchor. The cost basis and all realm of normal has died on this SL. Offer them whatever hackr-deal you fancy and pay for shipping back to SoCal. Maybe conquest vouchers work on a SL haha.
I was hoping to see if anyone had came close to 20%+ off on the SL55. Every dealer in SoCal seems confident that no one is able to give 25% off. Is there still covenants from MB for MY25? I should wait til mid to end year 2026?
If you are looking for this deal, you need to invest time and be willing to acquire a vehicle anywhere in the United States. I have leased many MB vehicles and since covid, they have been unwilling to deal. I’ve been targeting 20 % off a 2025 GLS580 or GLS450 and most dealers won’t even respond despite the vehicle(s) in question sitting on their lots over 15 months.
I hear ya. I am getting the same feedbacks for December. And there’s only one dealer who were willing to do 20%, and of course another sales sold the car within the hour as I was driving to them. Most I have gotten were 15%
Do you have an any reason to believe the deal you’re looking for is achievable? Asking for a 25% discount just because that “fits your current financial situation isn’t a great strategy for lease hacking.
I was once at an MB dealer and a customer kept telling them “I will pay you $45,000.00 for that car.” The MSRP was around $75k. Was super cringey. The salesperson just kept saying no.
Hopefully they didn’t run your credit, before they sold the vehicle to another party. Good luck and keep us posted if you achieve the deal you are searching for.
