Mercedes Question reignite/pull ahead

Wow

My dealer said my VIN was tagged with reignite when I went to get another eqs lol.

When i was talking to my dealer, he said my vin is eligible for loyalty. :+1::crossed_fingers:
I hope it is the end of the story LOL

Let’s hope! My dealer didn’t push my paperwork till 3 weeks after I took delivery. Maybe first deal paperwork still in the works

Why not? GLS’ seem to be in demand in the Bay Area.

Try to get a deal on it … there’s a reason it hasn’t sold yet.

I was hoping @CalOkie would have gotten it.

I have an EQB with the lease ending at the beginning of June. Does anyone have advice as to when would be the best time to turn it in and get a new one? I’m going to be close to the mileage cap, and need tires…so was hoping to just start over. Deals seem better now than when I leased in June of 23. Thanks!

Unfortunately no one but You , somehow, will cover the 3 months gap if you will do it now.
You need to get a quotes and see what works better for you.

Hi, I am Mercedes-Benz Dealer. What is your question?

Can you confirm if Amex Fleet and Reignite stack?

Yes they do stack

I have reignite that expired 1/2. That is a hard deadline right (aka there isn’t a way to apply it to something signed next week). No grace period for the slacker?

they extended it to 1/6

I got a reignite email with event and offer codes valid until 3/31/2025. I sold my MB lease to Carvana though … I read previously (on here) that nixes it but I still got email? Did rule change?

I sold my car to a Mercedes dealer. I got the offer as well. Think the bottom line in both our instances is that the lease was bought out. Doesn’t matter by ā€œwhomā€.

Related, does anyone know if the car used for lease pull ahead has to be grounded at the same dealer the new car is being purchased at?

@djrabbi can tell something about that from his experience, LOL.
I did it at the same dealership, and this is what i would suggest to avoid having 2 MB EQ units for the some period of time.
Also, you need to sign a special form from the dealer for the pull ahead program. Do not believe what the dealer will say that it will happen by itself/automatically. LOL.
I had to make several phone calls between dealer and MBFS to make it fix it because i did not get any proof of pull ahead. Lesson learned.

Yes. You need a LAP certificate from the grounding dealer and give to signing dealer

Thanks. So you need to ground before getting the new one. Agh single car family here so that makes it tricky. Was hoping to sign on the new one first and then quickly ground the existing car.

I can create LAPs and it’s then put in my deal.

Example, I did an LAP for a customer in NY, while I am in OR. They do have a time limit (usually before next payment, 30 days, or end of month, which ever is earlier )

Hope that helps

Hi Dale- the reignite program seems to be for leases ended in 2023, while loyalty is for upcoming lease returns.

Do people who grounded a MB lease in 2024 qualify for either of those?

I’ll let Dale chime in as he knows more than me!

In case it helps for context I had a leased E class bought out from me by a local MB dealer in July 2022 (had equity in it and they gave me the most money). I did not lease/purchase a new MB as part of the deal (sadly got a Tesla…). Middle of last month, I got an email from MBFS about reignite and the offer expires end of March 2025.

Edit: adding the fine print for more context if it’s helpful.
