Mercedes c300 p2 package & sport package

I received a deal for c class. It is loaner car w. 6200 mile. Car has premium 2 package, sports package and 40k maintenance. Lease term is 36 mo. (12k mile per year)

MSRP was 51630.

I am not sure about the Sales price and MF but I was able to find followings.

Residual was 60%.

895 acquisition fee.
7.5 NJ tire tax
174.5 license fee
395 Vehicle prep fee
1,173 tax

So 438.15 per month and 3,083 due at signing.

Is this a good deal…?

For the salesman, this is a fantastic deal. He can probably take the rest of the month off. But I’m not sure you can claim any of that down payment as charitable donation on your tax return.

Where should I start again…? I think he mentioned final price is around 18~19% off but didn’t show me the number

It helps to know exactly what the selling price is. If you’re getting 19% off and a 60% residual, your payment should be really good.

$395 vehicle prep fee for starters. that is pure built in profit for the dealer.

Then, is he playing with MF or other fee?

Probably both. [20 ]

Thank you… I again realized NJ dealers are not easy

Happens the same to everyone, they tell you all the time that they are loosing money and they treat you like they are doing you a favor, but wait a couple of days without contact then and you will have like 10 missed calls and emails. So for be loosing money they are very interested.

Wait until the lasts days of the months and you might get better prices. I’m also negotiating a c300 they increase the price on the certified vehicles on the beginning of the month and today they start to reduce it one more time.

Is this open road?

Ray catena won’t have the BS fees like that but you need to cut them hard because they’re good at psychological warfare.

Does anyone have MF for C class…?

I would counteroffer with $0 prep fee and $0 down payment. And at least 20% off MSRP. It’s a used car now.

There’s only about 400 Cap cost reduction in there… the rest are taxes and fees. Sounds like an average deal or a decent opening offer, not sure what makes you think this is some fantastic profit maker for a dealer or salesman.

PS: DMV fees will range around 289 to 311 for a 36m term. Need MSRP, sales price, MF, etc.

Prep = doc fee. and i can almost guarantee Ray Catena will have one just like every other NJ dealer.

I already have some of info as mentioned above post.

What I don’t know is exact final price (it seems it was around 42,400) and MF

Thats the most important part.
