Mercedes C300 Lease Coming Due and Having Trouble Negotiating New One

(Denver area Mercedes Lease Question)
Hey guys, Any insights/best practice or timing to get best Mercedes lease deals. My 2017 C300 lease is coming due in February so Mercedes reached out to get another deal done. The current deal all in is only $360/month all in for 7500 miles/yr for a loaner car and I negotiated the maintenance package into that price as well. It was a fantastic deal but the numbers that I was quoted for another C300 or even a GLA250 loaners are much higher ($100+ more a month than my current lease and without maintenance). They said that the deal I got on my existing lease may never be back again.
Does anyone have experience/insight to share if what the dealer is saying is true or on how to get them to come down to the existing lease price level? Thank you in advance

Need details here. If you’re not familiar with the terms money factor, residual value, manufacturer cash, MSDs, I’d suggest you take a step back before talking to dealers any more. Understanding the back end will allow you to evaluate what is a good deal and enable you to save yourself a lot of headache and likely thousands of dollars. Take a look at the leasing 101 section on the forum.

OR

save yourself the time and reach out to one of the great brokers on this site.

You’d need to find a C-Class loaner.

Thank you. I will take a look.

That’s all I’ve been looking at

Will do thanks

I’m familiar with those terms. Regarding MSD, is there a ballpark monthly dollar around that is taken off the monthly lease for every $1,000 in security deposit? Also regarding the money factor, when they quote the monthly lease payments, the money factor is never shared. How do I know if it is inflated? And do you ask the desire to adjust it down if it is? Thank you

Ask them specifically for the MF. If it’s inflated, ask them to lower it.

Also, it’s exceedingly difficult to give any feedback about the deal when you haven’t included something as basic as the MSRP and selling price.

No, get the LeaseHackr calculator out and plug in the MF and see how much it gets reduced by each security deposit. Use edmunds to ask for buy rate, incentives, and RV and then plug those variables into a calculator. Come up with your target deal and make a complete offer to the dealer.

Did you get the deal you wanted in the end? We returned a C300 around this time too and due to Covid, deferred the whole process. Now revisiting.

@tartanhabit don’t post in old and/or multiple threads asking people what they got.
