What’s going on with Mercedes EVs these days? I haven’t noticed any in your spreadsheets in a while. But it’s not just you, it seems like getting good leases on Mercedes EVs from anyone is quite hard these days. Is it just because the EV credit went away or is there something else?

Hi there! The EV incentives went away completely, so Mercedes-Benz slowed production down to almost a stop. The is an extremely limited supply at dealerships currently. The amazing EV lease deals we all got used to do not exist without this, so the volume would not be there. In addition, Mercedes-Benz will be rolling out new EVs very soon that have been upgraded on every level.

I wish I knew but we have no information on what it will look like. I would guess there will be something, but we just have no idea of knowing at this point.

I am actively shopping but unwilling to overpay in this current market (lease rates need to be well under 1% monthly payments with zero due at signing, similar to my last two EQS leases). Waiting on the EV inventory and incentives along with sales tax incentives for Texas.
