Ideally yes, but I was figuring the extra $5K into the % amount so I was coming out with 14.84% discount or close to it. I tried explaining how I got my %'s to the guy, and he wasn’t getting it LOL Doesn’t matter, the numbers he gave lined up with the LH calculator I saved within $1.
Figured I’d wait for his response back and fire off with $1500 more. That should get me to under $700 with the $2300 down.
All we’ve ever owned are vehicles with dark interiors (black or dark brown) so seeing a grey in person (with grey floor and grey roof) was definitely eye-opening LOL
As mentioned, we do have a 14 and 10yr old, so while they don’t typically make a mess, they are still youth so having a darker interior is for us.
And as a side note, while these are $120K MB vehicles, we all know that not all the materials are up the same level as a S-Class or something.
First thing with getting an EQS, cannot be picky. If all of you shopping wanting exact model, it’s probably going to get sold before you decide. It’s a great vehicle with its quirks but if you think it’s a good deal and comfortable with it, just sign! Stop trying to compete with other people’s numbers!

The naming of the colors isn’t quite correct as well, grey is more like bright white than grey.
We have a 2.5 year old as well and thought black would be better, but he don’t really dirty the car and realized we can’t live with the black interiors. Feels claustrophobic in the car.
We have a X7 for longer trip with the kid as well, it has ivory white merino leather - full aniline with almost no coating, so far it’s doing pretty ok.
If it was just the seats, we’d be alright. But the floorboards were white/grey as well. While I maintain my cars extremely well, it made me nervous LOL

Last year, @oarfish18 got me in the perfect build of a EQS 450 sedan. It was even in grey magno and was the specific option load I would have wanted if it I spec’d the car myself. Plus it wasn’t even long on the lot, probably 30 days old.

For appreciation jump on a 964 or 993 before they become unobtainable, especially some of the rarer specs
Yes. They may extend lease support since they are still soooo many MY2023 EQ models but no one knows and I don’t want to risk it.
There will always be a better deal! If you like the payment and the car, take it.
However, I got my EQS 2 weeks ago at around 860/month, 24/7.5k so I probs got a bit of buyers remorse, even if it was a really good deal!

Relatively to other cars their depreciation percentage is a lot lower. Eg a 5 year old 911 is still at 80% of its new msrp whereas a 5 year old Mercedes or bmw would be half or less now.
Maybe Japanese cars would be similar but we don’t drive Japanese cars.
Tesla mobile charger is a solid reliable product. Often found for less (new) on FB marketplace.

Keep in mind you’ll get like 1 mile an hour on this. I tried myself for kicks. On my old MY I got 5 miles an hour for some reason.
It is like 3.5 miles on suv, 4 on sedan per hour. I charged with level 1, it charged 1.3kw/hour. It is bad but may still cover the daily drive if you plug at night.
It is good to have the cable for emergencies in the trunk.
We should’ve swapped, lol! I hate how beige interior shows dirt after any use (and I have a GSD), it’s impossible to keep clean. If nothing else, the steering wheel should always be a dark color.
Interesting, I tried MBZ OEM level 1 charger once or twice and got about 35-40 miles over 12-14 hours if I recall correctly.
Weird. I got 1.2 mi per hour off my Tesla mobile connector using the same outlet that gave me 4-5 on my old MY. I got the same using the Mercedes charger cable thing too. Shrug.
Depends on the Adaptors that you use with the charger. The one that comes with it, I believe, is NEMA 5-15. Which should give 3+ miles/hour. I get over 1kw/hour.
If only we like dark interiors, so many more options and deals. Can’t even get an etron gt because they don’t even have option for light interiors.
