Yes I hope so hehe.
Anyone know how to make this overhead view the default camera view? I tried ”saving” it using the menu button on the far right, but every time I reactivate the cameras, it continues defaulting to the shitty over-the-shoulder fish eye distortion view.
When I try to resave it, it says that angle is already saved. No idea where it saves or how to access it in order to select it as default view.
Thanks! I am not sure how the fleet and dealer incentives stacked. Never heard the Fleet (12K) and Dealer (10K ) stacking up. I am glad it worked out for him.
IMO the view you want is after clicking this orb (available when viewing rear bumper or front bumper cam)
It basically gives you a proximity-only little car-shape-icon, and you basically park to get as close to the wall as you can with the camera.
I think Mercedes assumed people with EQS had bigger garages. Or were going to live out of their car like @anon65069371 and @HersheySweet
I freaking had to go home and pull out the measuring tape to make sure I had room for the EQS before I started the process. I BARLEY cleared the space required and I don’t have a small garage either.
MB assumed EQS owners would be rich, he we are with our broke asses
lol you’ll be broke when it comes time to replace all the tires on your bargain EQS’s.
Tires cost more than your lease.
Dare I ask what it costs for 4 new tires?
Bless. Will look at this view next time I am sitting in the garage basking in the comfort of my parked rocketship
IMO @derekoh1991 can help answer that one. He had his EQS 450+ on a 12 month lease and I don’t know if he made it to term with 5/32 left.
Imma guess $1,200 for 4 new tires since this is a German car and you will get hit with the baller-tax.
You know the saying… if you can’t afford two Porsches then you can’t afford one Porsche? I think these expensive German cars were engineered with serious hidden costs buried within.
I got me some $69 Chinese tires, I wanted to get something on par with EQS quality
are tires the only maintenance needed for these since it’s an EV? Are you all budgeting anything else over the 3 years of the lease?
Try double at nearly $500/ tire for 21" plus tax plus alignment.
I got 4 used Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 275/40/22 8.5/32 for $550 total, including shipping + tax. Discount tire will mount them for $22 per tire + tax
Which website - me tyres shot
Brakes, some people have had theirs replaced early like 10K miles - dealer may or may not cover them. I drive mine on strong recuperation/regen but my conclusion is the car is still using mechanical brakes, seeing a lot of dust on the wheels.
$300 each would be a huge bargain. Would be at least $500 each. It’s nothing to do with German but size of the tires. My Model X tire replacement was 1.8k for 4 as well and it’s a crappy American car.
I wonder if @djrabbi will even get 5,000 miles on the tires for his AMG EQS.
13 month leases seem like the way to go then. Turn it in before the tires hit 5/32!
