Hi, I’ve been negotiating with a SoCal dealer to lease a 2017 C300 Cab service loaner and he’s saying that corporate fleet discounts do not apply to service loaners. Wondering if anyone knows if that’s true – I remember seeing crazy c300 sedan dealers people were getting with fleet.
Absolutely not true. Now, what amount they give you could vary. Some dealers will give you the full fleet, others may claim that part of it is incentive money that is included.
For me they took off the full $2500 on a 2017 C300 4Matic Sedan
More than likely they said their original price included some amount of dealer cash and the 500 was the difference between full fleet incentive and dealer cash, since the 2 don’t stack.
Exactly what @cheapdad00 said. You have to find out whether the dealer’s advertised price includes any dealer cash. When I bought mine, it did not, so they were more than happy to take off the $2500.
From experience, about 19/20 it includes dealer cash. About 1/10 it includes dealer cash and they give you the full $2500 fleet on top of the dealer cash, then it goes to finance and they realize they screwed up
Any chance you could share a link to where it says that on the fleet website? I havent been able to find it. Maybe if i show him that they’ll honor the fleet discount. This is what I’m trying to get to but without the fleet it pushes the payment too high
Don’t know what to tell you. I think they’re wrong. Unless they’ve stopped leasing loaners in general for 17s, which I do not believe is the case, then they’re wrong. Easy way to check is to reach out to another dealer.
This sounds like a dealer “policy”, as opposed to a MB one. Try a different dealer, use MB of SDs offer as leverage, get the other dealer to beat it, then take it back to MB of SD.
