@mattevan I spoke to @calidude directly and cleared up miscommunications regarding the deal and apologized for the tone of our message that may have came off strong. He felt the solution was appropriate so he deleted his messages.
I also offered to make the deal and handle it directly myself at a rate that was even lower than our advertised quote (by approximately $10 a month effective).
No I am still not leasing the car from Lux. Already leased from elsewhere.
I felt the clarification provided was appropriate and nothing personal. Not my intent for them to lose business if they genuinely accept their mistake.
At the end of the day, my goal as a brokerage is to ensure clientele are taken care of. We can’t have a perfect interaction 100% of the time, we are human. Mistakes can occur and I have always used my utmost effort to correct those mistakes and ensure clients are taken care of especially those from the forum as I’ve been a hackr myself since 2017 and enjoy the hunt for a deal just as much as anyone else here.
