Just tell them you are a loyal MB customer and are hoping for a discount on the fees. Don’t tell them you switched to BMW, just say currently you don’t need another car.
I called infiniti when I returned my Q50 and asked to have the dispo fee waived as I was a loyal customer but currently don’t need another car ah blah. They waived half of it (better than nothing).
