šŸ”„ MAY Jeep Deals (CDJR) - WRANGLER 4XE 15% OFF CLEARANCE SALE Rubicon 4xe $295/mo w/ Loyalty+Inceptions

No it does not lock, will be dependent on month of delivery

Iā€™m very interested. So for the one-pay right now we would owe $1600 to place the order then the remainder of one-pay upon pickup?

Correct
$1k dealer deposit
$599 service fee

Upon delivery/signing whatever amount is due based on your structure. So if you did a one pay, yes, youā€™d hand or mail the dealer a check/wire at signing

Just want to get more clarification on the $7,500 EV credit - isnā€™t Jeep made in NA?
Why EV tax rebate will not be qualified after 12/31/2022?

We would love some more clarification on the EV tax credit also, however not all this information has been released yet. We are basing the information on information provided by both our dealer and the new Inflation Reduction Bill signed last week. Please read up on that bill and Iā€™m sure more questions will be answered as time goes on.

The new tax credit is contingent on two main factors:

  1. where the critical materials in the battery are sourced and processed
  2. where the battery pack is built

Something has to satisfy those two requirements to get $7500. The gov has not yet issued guidance on how to establish if something satisfies those requirements. As such, it is unknown right now if anything qualifies.

Beyond that, there several disqualifying factors a vehicle must get past. Is it built in North America, does it meet msrp caps, etc. Those factors do not qualify the vehicle for a credit, but they do disqualify vehicles that otherwise might get a credit.

Thus far, the Jeep is not disqualified by any of those, but it is unknown if it will qualify for any credits.

And there are also the MSRP and income limit requirements ā€¦ starting 2023

Yes - very well said.

MSRP requirements arenā€™t an issue for Jeep unless you check every box on a GC 4xe summit reserve. MSRP cap for SUVs/Trucks is $80k (someone can correct me if incorrect)

You are correct

Yah, those would be disqualifying factors

Want to confirm that the Jeep GC 4xe will be for MY 2022?

MSRP and sale price (affiliate included) will be locked when placing the order, but other incentives may become available at the time of delivery and potentially reduce the cost?

Obviously, the MF and RV may also get changed at the time of delivery and potentially change the cost.

Yes all are 2022 builds at the moment.

@CambMA02141 & others

Does the 12% discount gets locked by paying the Dealer deposit and Broker fees?
Lease cash is not locked and $7500 is based on delivery/further clarification of EV Fed rulesā€¦correct?

Yes the discount and build MSRP gets locked.

you get the $7500 in the significant likelihood that its delivered before 12/31. If its delivered after, then yes, further clarification of EV fed rules.

Thanks!
$1000 lease cash on Overland but not on the Base model? and this does not lock either?

correct,

AGAIN FOR ALL - MF/RV/REBATES DO NOT LOCK. IF DELIVERED PRIOR TO 12/31 - $7500 WILL STILL BE GOOD.

-reposting the announcement here as well.

Weā€™ll be changing the discount back on PHEVs - esp GC 4xes from 12% to 8% effective September 1st - Itā€™s become abundantly clear that whenever thereā€™s a blowout like this, thereā€™s always a few that ruin the fun for everyone, and it becomes a headache. To make it crystal clear for everyone else - there is no additional negotiating with the dealer (or us - but especially with the dealership). Weā€™d rather refund the fee and cancel the deal than work with a customer who disrespects the process and dealership employees.

Hi,

Not as well versed on the rebate as it relates to leasingā€¦ It looks like in the calculator it is applied and lowers the monthly payment, is that correct? I was under the impression that these rebates were tax breaks when filing your taxes, not applied directly to the price you are paying for the vehicle.

Could you clarify?

Thanks
