Hi there, as you can see from my username I am very fond of the Mach-E, particularly the GT trim. Unfortunately I think I partially know the answer to this: has the best opportunity to lease a GT price-wise already passed with the holiday incentives? I hadn’t known about Leasehackr last month until it was too late, and started looking at these cars at the end of December. Is it unrealistic to target a GT for around $500 a month with 0 money down & excellent credit? I’ve never lesed before and crunched the numbers in the Lease Calculator here, and it doesn’t look promising. I am in Florida, between the Orlando & Tampa markets.
Will the 2024 models likely decrease in price as they sit unsold on dealer lots with the 25s coming? Or, would you advise I look at the Premium trim if I need a vehicle sooner rather than later?
IIRC the lease deals were on lesser trims, not the GT. Right now the MF is low but the residual is also low, it will depend largely on which incentives you’re eligible for.
Check the Marketplace here for the few who deal with Ford since their technically don’t allow brokering.
If your heart is set on the GT and leases aren’t favorable, Hertz has tons of them for sale with reasonably low miles, still under warranty, deeply discounted. E.g. I think examples with 8-10k miles were 20k off MSRP.
Ford is still offering subsidized leases on the GT, but $500 a month with $0 is probably not reasonable. Go to Ford.com and play with their build and price tool to figure out how much of a discount you need to get to $500 a month. I think you will need at least 6% off which could be difficult.
It definitely was possible. Usually requires a heavily discount prior-model-year loaner. Not sure if it’s still possible with latest program and year-end rollover. You can see this deal previously offered for transfer as an example.
