Looking to lease a 2017 MINI Cooper S Hardtop 4 door -

This is our first time leasing… I’m in Ridgefield CT… the best deal I got is
2017 MINI Cooper S Hardtop 4 door - $324/month with $2,000 due at signing. This is for 36 mos and 7500 miles per year. In my area I could not get one without a down payment.
What do you think… is it a good deal?

That is an extremely high lease. 324 for a cooper s is high even without 2k at signing. The deal is made even worse by the fact that you’re getting only 7500 miles a year.

I know and thanks for the response…unfortunately there’re few mini dealerships in my area and they all have the same program…don’t know what to do…

Just email all dealers through edmunds. Get the best selling price you can on the car. Then go in and say you want to lease at that price.

Check the mini website for incentives. Email the dealers separately that you want the mf and residual. Figure out the lowest numbers that are the actual numbers from mini financial. Then go in to the dealer with lowest price and say you want to lease the car at the price you received in the first step with the official mini financial numbers.

Lay it out in front of them with the math from the calculator. If dealer one says no then all dealer two to match the selling price.

What’s the MSRP on the car? Generally a monthly payment of 1% of MSRP is considered a great deal, assuming standard drive-offs.

Here’s the program for 2017 Cooper S Hardtop 4-Door, by the way:

36/10K: 65% residual, .00135 MF
Targeted: $500 MINI Loyalty, $500 Grad, $500 USAA

The MSRP is $28100, but when I asked her what would be the best price if I bought it…$26,600 + fees and tax =$29019

Is this your program?
