It’s great that you became a super supporter, however the main idea behind doing that is to arm you with MF, RV, and incentives so you can create a target deal to send to a dealer.
If you don’t indicate you want 12k a year, how in the world is the dealer supposed to know?
I did , but I also asked what the best deal they could offer . He shot back with the 10k mileage , waiting for a 12k but wanted to get opinion on how this deal looked .
For a pay all out seen one on here recently get an effective 386 monthly tho their taxes were super low. I was thinking in the effective $500-$550 realm especially if this is only for 10k mileage .
Going to 12k will lower the RV by 1% slightly increasing the payment - you can run it in the calc to confirm but 1% reduction on the difference is pretty standard across most if not all lessors.
As already mentioned, the $386 deal is an outlier and shouldn’t be used for comparison.
I’d imagine the typically high FL dealer fee is going to impact your deal some.
Assuming the FL tax rate is 6%, at this price, 6% on the monthly payment is almost the same as the 1.2% on the net cap cost (this is how TX taxes work). So, taxes aren’t making much of a difference here. IMO, the difference is because of 3 reasons :
Dealer discount: Dealer discount is significantly lower than what I got. $14K on a 2025 loaner is pretty good but not the greatest. At least in TX, there are lots of dealers advertising a $14K dealer discount on 2025 loaners without any negotiations.
Lack of supplier discount : You are missing out on $2000 just because of this plus the doc. fee is capped at $75 with supplier. Not sure if FL dealers honor the $75 cap. Another $1000 difference right here.
24 month vs 36 month : The RV on 24 months isn’t significantly better than 36 month. So, you are paying the depreciation over fewer months leading to higher effective monthly.
I would wait and shop around for a better dealer discount. $17K dealer discount before any rebates should be replicable (not saying its easy but not hard neither) but I agree with others that $20K off I got might not be replicable. $17K off dealer discount + Costco + Supplier on a 36 month lease is still pretty good. Should come to approx. $430-$450 effective monthly with one-pay. Of course, you would somehow need to arrange the supplier code and live with a 36 month lease instead of 24 like you originally intended, 36 months is the sweet spot with the current hummer lease programs, not 24 months. Just my $0.02
No offense to OP but they haven’t even learned to use the calculator yet. Not sure another great deal is going to just fall into their lap. This is better than most. If it were me and I liked the spec I would tell them to do the same price at 12k and call it a day.
