A huge thank you to Thunder Auto Leasing for securing an amazing deal on my 2024 Ford Thunder XLT for 24 months with 12k miles. The entire process was smooth, and he even helped me out on Christmas Eve! Truly appreciate the outstanding service. Thank you so much for everything!

Tim was fantastic throughout my deal. I took delivery of a Lightning Lariat on 12/26.

Messaged back and forth a bit. Confirmed inventory, had him run a custom quote via text. Settled w 36/15 at $650 w first DAS. Fantastic deal.

More importantly the dealership he partnered with was also fantastic. Not only were they responsive and got the deal 100% inked in about 36 hours, they drove the car 3 hours from the dealership to my door. No meet ups, no car carriers. Just handed me the keys and shook hands. Overall I spent maybe an hour tops getting everything finalized.

If you’re on the fence or concerned about sending a broker fee sight unseen, I get it but I can promise you he is legit and super easy to work with.

I leased a Ford Lightning XLT and had a very positive experience with this broker. I tend to ask a lot of questions, and he was always patient and thorough in his responses.

Out of curiosity, I asked the dealership how the process worked. They explained that the broker engaged in multiple rounds of long drawn negotiations. This ensures we get the best possible deal, making the broker’s fee more than worth it.

Here’s mine, transport showed up at my house 5:15PM on Christmas Eve, put the gifts in the frunk to go to SIL house. Dealer wanted $500 for transport from the Houston area, after I said I didn’t want it, he dropped it to $375. Ultimately, we preferred to stay at home Christmas week instead of taking a day trip to the Houston area. Had it been any other week of the year we probably would have gone ahead and gotten it in person and saved the $375.

Both Thunder Auto Leasing and the dealer were great to work with. No regrets.

Signed: 2024 Ford Lightning XLT Standard Battery 7.5k/24 months $299.96/month plus $499 broker fee. MSRP $65,590.

I had a great experience working with Tim!
From the very start, he was incredibly quick to respond and easy to communicate with, making the entire process seamless (it was day before New Years!!). He was straightforward and honest about the deal, and everything turned out exactly as he said it would.
I’m truly grateful and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient car-buying experience!

Great experience from start to finish. Did the entire deal via text and online sign documents to from the dealer. One phone call from finance to verify and collect my 1st payment. Two-ish days from initial inquiry to signed docs. Two-ish days later for delivery (due to scheduling and weather). Reached out Monday, car in garage on Friday.
Worth it just for the easy process alone. Wife is very happy with her new car and I’m very happy with the easy deal.
Thanks again!

Buying from Tesla was the easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had. . . until working with Tim. He is super responsive, and after a few texts back and forth, we finalized a killer deal on a Mach-E. The dealer contacted me a few minutes later and delivered the car two days later. (Would have been the next day but we had bad weather in Texas). Thanks again!!

@LightningAuto is probably the best broker I’ve ever worked with. Super fast at responding, we worked through the numbers on a F-150 Lightning over text, and from first contact to finalizing the deal and locking down the car took less than half an hour. Dealer he works with is also great, friendly and straight-forward. E-signed everything and car was delivered by them to my house today. Would highly recommend and hope to work with him again on the next car.

Great deal! Just received my XLT; love the car, and Thunder made the whole process super easy. 39/10.5K had the lowest monthly with first mo DAS for MD (tax on full price), but I decided to go with 36/10.5 for a few dollars more. This avoids being out of warranty for 3mos at the end, and paying an extra full year of MD registration with the EV surcharge.

Thank you so much!

Tim shared the latest deals he secured for the Ford F150 Lightnings on Leasehackr , and I wasted no time messaging him to lock in one of them. He ensured the tax calculations in the deal were accurate for my area, connected me with the dealership, and everything turned out exactly as promised.

The dealership, much like Tim, was top-notch—seamless, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout the process.

This is my first experience as an EV driver, first time using this website, and first time working with a broker. The great reviews encouraged me to give it a shot, and what a great decision. Overall, it an amazing experience. Thank you, Tim!

Here completing the first full charge

I’ve had 3 transactions with Tim.
Lightning Purchase
Mach E Purchase
Ioniq 6 Lease

Most likely will be using him again when the Ioniq 6 is returned this year

I had a great experience with Tim. Little mix up with the rebates but easily resolved. Dealership I happened to get paired with a salesperson that was out of office for two days so it did take a little longer to get processed and put into finance but overall I am very happy. Was about a week from finalizing the deal terms to getting the car so overall was very smooth. I will absolutely be back for my next car!

I didn’t know buying/leasing from a dealer could be so simple. Tim got me a quote on a 2024 Lightning within minutes of texting him. 2 days later, I flew from GA to MD and drove the truck home. Absolutely recommend him and hope to do business again in the future!

I had a bad experience with this Broker (@LightningAuto). I have no clue why he wouldn’t reply—if shipping isn’t available, just let me know.

Can you tag this broker in your post?

You’re upset because he left you on read? You in a relationship with him? You in 8th grade? He probably gets dozens of messages, R-E-L-A-X if he didn’t reply to you right away.

Thank you for your perspective. My concern isn’t about being ‘left on read’ as a personal slight but rather about the lack of communication in a professional transaction. If a broker engages initially and then disengages without clarification, it creates uncertainty for a customer actively trying to make a purchase.

Customer service in any industry hinges on clear communication, especially when expectations are set by prompt initial replies. While I understand brokers manage multiple clients, a brief acknowledgment of limitations (‘shipping isn’t available’) takes seconds and upholds professionalism. Dismissing this as ‘8th-grade’ behavior overlooks the importance of accountability in business interactions.

The core issue isn’t impatience but respecting a client’s time. If we normalize unresponsiveness, we risk lowering service quality standards. Thanks for the discussion!

@LightningAuto was a great experience btw. From communicating with him to getting the deal done with the dealer, it took about 5 hours from start to finish signing everything. The dealer he worked with was awesome too. Didn’t try to oversell on anything on the finance side, which everyone knows is half the frustration at dealers.

I was interested in a Bronco and after putting in offers to close to 14 offers to dealers, no one came close to the 9% I got from Tim. I had about 15 other dealers I was ready to place offers in for but the fatigue hit. As we all know most these dealers bake in their incentives and rebates so those big discounts werent a big discount. The one’s at MSRP bawked at anything more than 1-2%. Got abit fatigued doing this for a few weeks, reached out to Tim. Sadly he didnt have the EXACT thing we were looking for but it was 99% there and the monthly was within our rang

For what it’s worth, the closest any other dealer got to what I got from Tim and the dealer he works with was $90 more a month with more down. Quite a handful wouldnt budge off of 2% off MSRP. Then you add in reaching out to dealers in the north east who can’t lease out of state, and I was hitting my limit.

Bonus was free delivery right to my house (and I wasn’t close) so overall this was an easy yes from us.

If you need to lease a Ford, go ahead and send the million offers out. But if your willing to go with 8% off MSRP (includes taking the broker fee out of the discount), potentially get free delivery and have an easy time at the dealer, just reach out to Tim.
