Lexus Pull Ahead?

There will be no killer deals at the end of the FY. Don’t expect any killer deals again on the GS or really any Lexus sedan for a long time. TFS lost a LOT of money on the RV risk with the 24, 27 and even 36mo leases on the current gen GS. They have beat the RVs down so far out of fear of losing again. The MF will always be bought down to try and get competitive payments but since the captive doesn’t share risk with the sales division, the RVs are only as high as the risk team at the captive pushes them. Plus all the luxury midsize sedans are in the same boat with lease payments much higher than in years past on just about every model.

He still will see a better deal in March than right now, only because he can maybe work a better deal on Cap cost.

But You are right, the residual on most of their sedans is not good, and we likely will never see numbers like we did in 2013-2015 on the GS.

Yeah apparently my 15" residual is 66%! I was shocked now that I learned that.

Dealer told me my car is worth $30K, when they have SAME exact car with more miles selling for 40K

Dealer called back saying $550 a month with $3500 down, covering 3 of the final 6 payments. I still said no to him saying I’ll wait till March. I even told him I’ll probably get Infiniti Q50 3.0 as deal is better to irk him a bit to come down lower on price.

I really don’t want to settle for a car off the lot, which is what I did on first lexus. Rather get what I want exactly is what I told him. I really want the triple beam headlights

anybody know if Lexus is currently running a pull ahead program ?

Nope. Just 3 months if you are in final 3-4 months of your lease.

I too am interested in this. I got what looks to be a mailer from a local BMW dealer offering to pay off the last 6 months of my Tesla Model S lease if I get into a new BMW 7 Series lease. When I spoke to the dealer it looks like a promotion BMW is offering as a conquest. On the BMW 7 Series they will pay up to the last 6 payments up to $1500/mo. I would like to know if others offer this too. I wasn’t impressed with the 7 Series.

Lexus will never do this. They are getting rid of a few models soon

He he he. I lease a 2015 GS350 Fsport. Got it in DEC15. I got $12K off MSRP of 57K. Zero down and zero at signing (15K a year at 33 months). They were giving them away.

Yeah I got completely owned on the car and lease. I am glad it is up in a few months now. Car is great but no power vs. German competition

my friend is already over the miles but car isn’t due until Oct, was trying to see if i can get her out of it sooner if she takes another lexus.

A friend of mine wife works for the largest Lexus dealership in San Diego and her boss reported the new ES350 sport will replace the GS350 in terms of sportiness/design and market share. I checked pictures of the 2019 ES350 and it looks better not sure if better than GS350. However, can’t believe the lease price for a newer GS350 these days. Speaking of lease increases my last two were MBZ E350 sports.
But I can’t believe how much MBZ wants for an E300 for a lease. My first MBZ E-class (2012 E350 Sport) was $299 a month (less taxes), then I moved to a 2015 and the price jumped 200 bucks a month but now your looking at 600 plus a month. Hard to swallow. Less HP, nice interior but not much.
