Lexus NX300 lease help

Hi Guys, shopping for my wife’s lease, and she is looking at 2020 NX300.

Found one on a website with this info:

Reached out to the dealer and I asked him for a quote that should be with base MF and RV and any discounts should be off the MSRP before incentives and DAS is first month paymenbt + doc/title fees.

According to edmunds, here is relevant information:

.00060 and 61% / 54% for 24/36 and 12K - base
.00060 and 63% / 56% for 24/36 and 12K - F-Sport
$3000 lease cash

So he comes back with the following numbers:

For a 36 month 12k miles lease you would be at $491 plus drive off(doc fees and license) a month. The money factor is .00070 and the residual is 55%. On the 24/10 k lease you would be $473 a month the residual is 62%.

I will email him back asking for a breakdown, which I asked him in my original email, but just by looking at his numbers, I am about to vomit.

Are they marking up the RV and MF?

They’re marking up the mf by .0001… not much.

RV is higher in their numbers because you asked for a 10k lease and the edmunds numbers are for a 12k lease.

You have the info from edmunds… based on that and the pre-incentive discounts you’ve found while researching comparable deals on here, what is your target price for that vehicle? You should have this number before you ever talk to a dealer.

What about your numbers make you want to vomit?

I am trying to get it for about close to 450ish per month including taxes.

Their monthly price is on the high side.

What is this number based on?

I know i might not get it, but I have to try

It’s useless trying to compare against a deal from several months ago without knowing how the rv/mf/incentives have changed or adjusting for any local fees/taxes. Don’t even know if it’s the same model year.

Use the current info you have, research previous deals on here to determine a target pre-incentive discount and figure out what the vehicle should lease for based on current lease terms/your personal situation. Anything else is a useless number.

Understood, trying to find a recent Nx300 deal on here is sort of hard, seem like they are not so popular cars.

This is true. They’re hard to justify when you can get an xc60 for the same price.

This is his breakdown:

breakdown of the price. MSRP $43,242.00
Discount 3,952.00
Rebate 3,000.00
Adjusted Price 36,290.00
Doc Fee 300.00
Tax 1,112.00
Non Tax Fees 1,121.00
Balance $38,823.00

Non Taxable Fees = Doc Fee 300.00
Title Fee 150.00
License Fee 151.00
Electronic Filing Fee 25.00
Acquistion Fee 795.00

MSRP after discount (pre-incentive) is 39,290, which is 9.1% off.

I will aim for another 3% off, is that a good try?
