Lexus IS350 Lease Deal $409 Month. Numbers?

Lexus has a decent lease deal on an Lexus IS350 for $409 a month with $2499 down.

MSRP is $49,044 (or something very similar)

I am looking to see what the residual/money factor/etc… are on this deal.

Local dealers are offering new ones for ~$4500 off and I wanted to see what my lease price could be if I factored in those numbers.

2016 IS 350, 36/10K
Residual: 65%

Here’s the fine print on the Lexus advertised offer ($409/month, $2,599 due at signing):

*Available on approved credit to very well qualified customers through Lexus Financial Services and participating Lexus dealers on a new 2016 IS 350 F SPORT. Not all customers will qualify. Offer based on MSRP of $49,044 including delivery, processing and handling. Monthly payment may vary depending on final price of vehicle & your qualifications. You pay $0.25 per mile over 10,000 per year. See dealer for vehicle and lease program details. Must take delivery by 3/31/2016. This offer is available in CA, NV, AZ, NM, CO, UT, ID, OR, WA, AK.

**Complimentary first month’s lease payment up to $700, valid on new 2016 IS 350 F SPORT leases up to 48 months. Qualifying customers will receive a credit equal to the lesser of $700 or their first month’s lease payment (the “Maximum Credit”). The Maximum Credit will be applied first towards the amount due at lease signing with any remainder applied towards cap cost reduction. Offer through a Lexus Dealer and Lexus Financial Services. If the first payment is more than $700, the customer is responsible for any amount over $700. See participating dealer for lease program details. Program not eligible with One-Pay leases. Offer ends 3/31/2016.

From reverse calculating the deal, looks like the Lexus offer assumes a selling price of $46,350 on a $49,044 MSRP car. The manufacturer’s offer typically isn’t very aggressive, so there’s definitely room for savings.

According to Edmunds, the average price paid (Southern California) is $44,898 on a $49,433 MSRP car.
