Funny that you worry about the salesperson but not an IRS or an FTB auditor. You realize that they’ll want a cut, right?
Have them print the unfilled form template that contains the chargeback language until they locate your signed copy.
Or have them screenshot the unfilled form in its entirety and send that to you.
It’s not like they had a paralegal draft that up on the fly while you were sitting in the finance office.

Called Lexus financial and they said I will not get charged back. Conveniently dealer said they lost the sheet and won’t be charging me the rebate back. His “mistake”

As someone said earlier. Contact Lexus Financial and ask for copies of everything they have in reference to your deal. I’ve done that before with US Bank on a lease. Got the document that the dealer signed on my behalf lol

Make sure in income tax returns there isn’t something that affects what you can deduct assuming it over years etc. I forgot the details of that rebate but Remember it was reflected in tax returns somehow.
They should close every dealership. I’ve never been to one that didn’t play extreme games. I will never get a Mercedes again because of Mercedes manahatten and screwing me when I was young. Then you go in and ask how much and they say how much do you want your payments to be, or how much you putting down so they can move it back and forth. They don’t even understand the pricing here in nyc or what residual value is. Or trying to give you a cad you don’t want. Switching papers that are signed or folding them etc in Brooklyn Nissan.
Clothing and other business’s would never allow their brand to be devalued or customs turned off forever. Especially if your someone who buys a lot of cars. It’s as bad as if you’re not educated on the subject yourself like you guys , one would be crazy to not go to a broker. They should have showrooms and everything else handled by the factory or something with more control. Or just ordering off the internet and or phone etc after a showroom.
