Leasing - Windshield Protection - Can it be cancelled when selling the vehicle early

When I signed a 3-year lease, I opted in to purchase the Windshield protection (my mistake, I know).

I sold the vehicle after 18 months, and the dealer is refusing to refund the Windshield Protection unused portion for the remainder of 18 months. I checked the Windshield protection contract and above my signature, it does say the following
“…I understand the limited Warranty is NON-CANCELABLE”.

Does NON-CANCELABLE = NON-REFUNDABLE?

In my opinion NON-CANCELABLE means you can’t cancel the whole policy and get a 100% refund, but you could get a refund for the remaining time.

Any thoughts?

It is cancellable, what is the dealer talking about?

Give it a shot in small claims court and let us know how it goes

And when they point out that the warranty is TRANSFERRABLE to the new owner you are going to be SOL
