no no no, this forum is really helpful but some people are too stubborn to contribute (even shitty memes) or pay a broker fee or provide some sort of value to the community. You don’t have to be great or good (case in point: me) but you do have to be provide some sort of value so others provide you with value. Personal Finance forums like LH and others tends to get a lot of leechers who absolutely refuse to do anything but take and take and take. I’m in other places and most people are willing to help in exchange for semi funny shitposts lol

When you sign a decent deal, your inbox is flooded with DM’s asking to share dealer, most of which come from users with no post history. Instead of just saying no, I will usually explain how I went about the deal, how many offers it took, reiterate the qualifications/incentives/taxes, and any other caveats to be helpful. Then don’t get a “thanks,” not even a like, nothing.
