I also wonder when kids will start asking what an “online forum” is. A lot of older folks I know don’t understand what an online forum is either. It may be a particular marker of our time…

I ran a BBS back in the day, had some games on like Solar Realms Elite. It got a pretty good following.
I was a weird kid, varsity athlete and also hard core nerd running a BBS, haha. Good times.
Not a boomer though. BBS was a GenX thing for the most part.
