Yeah, people don’t realize how much taxes you pay as a small biz or corp. It sucks even in real estate where we basically only pay like half of the taxes a normal business pays lmao
You RE folks do have those beautiful 1031 exchanges though. Color me jealous!
we are, yes.
1031 isn’t even that bad. The worst/best thing is actually depreciation lol.
I thought the whole point of Zelle was to bypass them LOL
Not if you like your freedom.
whats the worst thing about deprecitation? given it just hit the 100% mark again =P!
If you get into a low security enough prison you can broker from prison!
So depreciation in RE is totally different than in cars or anything else really. It’s basically mandatory legalized tax fraud lol. Basically it’s great cause you’re paying less taxes but also it’s completely bullshit for our economy.
Have a STR in NC myself hahah, but I agree, hate the game, not the players lol
If you have too many transactions in the account, banks will start questioning how/what/why the account is being used for and conduct more thorough KYC/CDD processes. And there are thresholds (which aren’t very high) for transactions/$ that are reported to regulators.
Paid $2k on the last brokered deal. Instead of being transparent about the fee, some are packing the dealer price. Not sure how LH is ok with that practice. They ran Clutch off for less.
Pic of you holding the bag?
Wait what, You didn’t know that you were paying a $2000 broker fee? How does that work?
It’s been going on for a while and people have mentioned it so LH is definitely aware. It’s usually a few hundred bucks though, $2K is absurd though. What car was it?
2K per copy would be a good living.
For some it’s chump change though, we’ve heard talk of 4-5K rips on CDJR products.
One can hide a lot in the $5k DAS
Some of the brokers aren’t being transparent about broker fees anymore. They’re hiding it in due at signing, “shipping”, and other misc costs lol
Wait, government fees aren’t $1250?
Do you really wanna deal with people like me begging for 911 GT3rs for 30% off?
