I’m in the midwest paying 5.50+ for premium just filled my 4xe yesterday with 87 for 4.75
Just filled up my tank at $3.59 for 87. Premium was $4.09
Is this a map of “places that haven’t gotten warmer than 80 degrees all summer?”
Gas is down over $1/gal, and I’m back pumping 87 from 91
Also need to fill up today, I have $0.30/gal off.
You are pumping 87 now that gas is cheaper?
The new ride only requires 87, not 91
damn never knew subarus can run on 87
Still up $2+ from where they should be.
I went back to 2016 (remember I have every fill on every car, and priors took 87), and to me it looks like we’re ~$1.25/gal higher.
But gas prices also fell under trend during 2020, so it feels like a much bigger jump.
How much gas are you pumping these days? You still have 1 non-EV?
At one time the WRX/STI required 91+ (mine included), that’s it. All the flat-4 boxers take 87, all the current turbos take 87. There are some 89+ Cobb tunes. Like me, they don’t like corn syrup in their fuel: E10 max
Mom’s 330e still takes gas every so often.
Gas tax in California went up again on 7/1.

I lived in many different places in CA that got way hotter than 80 degrees all summer
I agree. Let’s cut down on banter here people.
