SDG&E’s savings estimate for switching to a ToU plan based on my current usage was in the single digits annually. I think it was $8.
I decided to blow the extra $0.67 a month so I don’t have to get up at 3 a.m. to run the dishwasher.
When I was sce, the tiered rated was a good bit better than the tou plan, so I’d only be switching to tou for the ev rates.
