Yeah it’s about a grand. May still be a great deal but that expense rolled into the monthly together with the transfer fee exceeds my budget.

only the m550 and m5 are twin turbo. the 530 and 540 are twin scroll single turbos, but for some reason bmw calls it twin power turbo making it confusing.

yeah, most sales guys arent real enthusiasts and dont really know what they’re talking about most of the time when it comes to the technical stuff. a lot of them dont even know the difference between chassis numbers, like e39, e60, f10, g30 etc.
Always verify what the dealer tells you.
I’ve driven a bunch of 2012-2016 528’s and I didn’t feel it was underpowered coming out of a 535. The transmission is really good and gets the car moving very well. The 2017 has a slightly better power-to-weight ratio so it should be slightly better. BMW’s 2.0t and transmission combo are arguably better than anyone else’s.
And there’s almost no way you’re getting a 6 cylinder 2017+ 5 series for 431+tax
