Not sure if posting in correct place but I have a cracked windshield and my lease return is approaching. Does the replacement need to be OEM and include the Ford emblem on top or can I get away with aftermarket that does include the ford badge on top? Any insight would be great.

Sometimes it’s cheaper to return. Call Ford and ask them the windshield charge
I see you tagged Florida. Windshields are covered under your auto insurance at no out of pocket expense to you if you go thru your insurance company
Thanks for the reply. I am hesitant to because I had a claim earlier in the year. I am afraid my insurance will spike more than it already will after that claim!

It probably won’t spike, but it does generate a CLUE report which hurts you later if you switch.
There’s an option often where it’s oem equivalent but without the logo which is cheaper but oem quality and not aftermarket. Ford should be fine with this. Safelite should be able to tell you if this is an option.
