Lease deal on the New Jeep compass

Hello!

I’m in the process of negotiating a deal for a new Jeep compass 2017 (The new model they just released not the regular compass 2017) and I’m interest in feedback of the deal I have.

The deal is for 36 month / 12k.

Model: Latitude Front-wheel Drive
Package: Navigation, Sunroof, prefered.
MSRP: 31,160.00
Discount: 3,179.25
Tax: 471.73
Tag and Title Fees: 266.50
Delivery Charge: 699.00
Rebate: 1250
FInal price: 28,762.98

Down payment: 5000
Monthly payment (including tax) : 188/month

I shopped around and couldn’t find anything better.

Reasonable?

is the down payment everything thats due at signing? Also whats a delivery charge?

Yes down payment is what is due at signing. No idea about delivery charge.

You need a breakdown what is going towards cap cost reduction to evaluate better. Plus residual and mf. However, since it is new, i doubt you would get a hacker lease on those.

I got the numbers.

Cap cost: 23978
Residual: 57% 17761
MF: .00011

Let’s think this through before making any quick decisions. You’re planning to put $5,000 down on your 36/month lease? And after that down payment, your monthly payment is $188/month? So, I think what you’re saying is a no money down lease would be about $325/month for a FWD Jeep Latitude? Are you sure?

Where are you located?

I’m located in Tampa, Florida

I mean it’s byfar the best deal I found for a 31k SUV.

Like I said it’s the new compass and not the old style one. it has a full sunroof and some very nice options.

The best deal I could find on an Edge with similar was options was 317/month before tax with the same downpayment.

What are you looking to do?

Not sure what you mean?

Why 5k down on a compass - is what I mean.

Are you just looking for a cheap lease or are you set on this unit?

I can get a 2018 qx30 AWD premium for close to that price (msrp 42k), you should keep shopping around). 323 zero down with bank upfront (10k)

I’m not set on this one. I’m looking for a cheap compact SUV. Don’t really like the escape and I can’t fit in the CR-V.

This model having a starting MSRP at 19k let me add a bunch of nice features I felt.

I got a quote on a QX30 at 275 with 5k down. I’ll try to get it down.

Could you describe the deal you can get so that it could help me on the negotiating.

MSRP: $41,655
SALES PRICE: $37,995
Bank fee is paid upfront.

MF: .00089, Adjusted MF with MSD: .00001
Payment: 323 (no tax included)

Thanks for the details.

I have been looking at Jeep leases and what strikes me as really bizarre is they have incentives for NON prime borrowers.
