Lease Deal Check ! Chevy Silverado 1500

Hello

I want to Lease and I saw an ad in Cheverolet for a Chevy Silverado 1500 RST twin turbo engine with a dealer discount of $13,500. The msrp was 51,005. My buddy works there and laughed when I told him I was expecting at least CLOSE to the $13500 discount . He said the dealer can’t go more than $6k negative. In that ball park . Best he got me was a cap price of $44k-$44500. That left the monthly at $570. They moved the numbers around a bit . Got the cap price just a bit lower and if I got a GM credit card and put down $1500 (that includes first month) Gm would give me an xtra $500 credit. That brought the monthly down to $495 .

Is that a good deal? I’m seeing people get better prices but it really seems to depend on how low you can get them on that cap price

On that deal sheet he is only giving you $6k discount and there are 2k dealer add on.

Also 24mo term makes more sense vs 36 for the current program

Here is what the deal should look like if it gives you base MF, **pre tax and fees**

Have you checked the Marketplace to see if there are any listings for comparable Silverados?

There is no twin turbo engine for these.

They’re charging you $3K in junk fees and after market crap. Get rid of those, or as much as you can, and the deal becomes much better.

Get a new “buddy” this guy aint
