Hello All, I’ve a question. I’m negotiating with some dealers but I’ve a lease that still has 6 remaining months. I got the pay-off amount from Chrysler Capital and there’s the tax amount separated there.
My question is, if a dealer buys out my lease, are they going to pay the total amount (current purchase price + tax) or would they just pay chrysler pre-tax amount considering they’ll sell the car to someone else (or another dealer who trades chrysler cars) and the final buyer will have to pay the tax?
