Lease Advice: 2020 Audi A5 Sportback

Hi,

I am a first time leasee and would really appreciate feedback on a lease quote I got here in the Bay Area for a 2020 Audi A5 Sportback:

  • Lease Term: 36/10k
  • MSRP: 55940
  • Cap Cost: 47000
  • Adjusted Cap Cost: 48294 → Updated to 48436.54
  • Trim: Premium Plus
  • MF: 0.00080 (Edmunds: 0.00080)
  • RV: 50% (Edmunds: 50%) Maybe get Audi Care?
  • No MSDs
  • Monthly Lease Amount: 652 (inclusive of taxes @9.75%) → Updated to 658.49
  • DAS: 2399 → Updated to 2095
    • Fees: Acquisition (895) + Gov Fees (448.25) + Doc (85) + Additional (8.29)
    • First Month Lease: 658.49

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
Update: Added updated figures

Does the cap cost include any incentives? What fees are included in the adjusted cap cost?

Have you considered 2021- the will have a higher RV and probably more incentives- check with Edmunds. May be less than 2020 0and newer MY.

Post a LH calculator so that you will understand how your deal is structured and can easily manipulate the variables. You will likely get more feedback as well- here to add insight, but not to do your research.

Have you talked to @Audigirl or @AudiCarGirl4U?

I don’t think so – after speaking to the dealer he just mentioned the vehicle being discounted from 55490 to 47000. Edmunds also mentioned there were no incentives.

The fees included in the Adjusted Cap Cost are: Acq. + Doc + Gov + License

Something does not add up. Are you paying some of these fees upfront or not?

I have considered the 2021. These are the numbers I got from Edmunds for 36mo/12k:

  • MF: .00120
  • RV: 55%
  • No incentives

The reason I was considering the 2020 was because it was well spec’ed out and had more discount on the MSRP than a comparatively spec’ed 2021. Maybe I need to do more research…

LH Calculator for 2020 Audi A5:

I am supposed to be paying the entire 2095 upfront as per the dealer.

If they’re included in the adjusted cap cost, you’re not paying them upfront.

Ahh, thank you for pointing that out!

Do you have Costco?

No, I don’t unfortunately

Are 2020 audis still eligible for lease?
