Kona Limited Lease Deal Check?

,

I’ve been really interested in the Hyundai Kona, Ultimate or Limited trim. I test drove the Ultimate a few weeks ago and liked it. It had all the things I wanted (sunroof, heated seats, AWD, and fun) and seemed like a reasonable price. The Limited has everything I need and seems like a bit of savings so I would go with either trim.

I got a quote for $329/month 36/10K on a 2020 Hyundai Kona Limited AWD with taxes and fees due at signing. It seems high to me, but I don’t think I have all the information to use the leasehackr calculator; or at least understand it correctly.

Is this a good idea, or what should I be expecting to pay on one of these trims? I’m located in Westchester, NY.

We are going to need details other than the price per month and terms. Get a detailed sheet from the dealer. I personally wouldn’t pay that much for that under any circumstances even without seeing details.

That quote was over the phone, but I also had this one via email (different dealer). This is the Ultimate trim, so clearly a better deal from the looks of it.

Let’s see what she thinks @NurseAl. Did you get the MF and RV information from Edmunds? Do you qualify for any incentives?

I wouldn’t bother with a Limited when the Ultimate lease for the same payment.

Plus taxes and fees is a big number, I would guess you are talking $2K DAS

A quick check on Rodo shows Kona Ultimate’s in my area going for $280/mo w/ $2K DAS (36/10).

Thanks. It seems like most dealers in my area have much more stock of the Ultimate anyway. I was aiming for around $250ish, but even $280 is a lot better than my current quotes.

I tried to plug these numbers into the calculator. I don’t think I did it right. Was this a good deal?
