Just got my lease end bill from my 2024 EV9 Light Long Range. The vehicle had:
a volleyball sized dent on the hood
crack on the windshield that was 50% the width of the windshield
1 scratched rim
scratched up interior from using the car as a cargo van
2 tires that were all on the cusp of 4/32 at their lowest point
plenty of chips on the bumper
Somehow I only got dinged for a missing $111 trim piece (which definitely wasn’t missing when I turned in the car) and a few miles over. Does anyone know if Kia would ever realize they messed up and come back to ask for more?
I drove mine into the back of some annoying L shaped bracket thing on my garage door that seems perfectly designed to catch the high spoilers of SUVs, as you back too quickly out of your garage and cracked a Quarter sized piece of the rear spoiler. Light operation etc is fine and I glued it back into place and you’d not notice it was cracked unless specifically looking but assume I’ll be dinged for 1500 or so for whatever it costs.
Will be eagle eyed on this thread to hope they’ve forgiving of such things!
Mine is otherwise somehow still pristine after 21 months
Got my bill no extra charges. Watching mine on the app still. Mine is sitting at a manheim lot but don’t have access to auctions. They still haven’t charged it so guess battery is still dead.
