OP has been pretty forthright so let’s at least give him the benefit of doubt until we see how it plays out.
If I adjust the OP’s calc to add a $2,000 post sale rebate and remove disp, it shows $499 effective. Which is like ~466 plus tax?
Maybe after the back & forth, the modified agreement for $617 was $0 DAS?
@Nixon2124 hope it all works out for you
No offense taken. Just make sure you stick around for pictures and contract.
Congrats, @Nixon2124!
Enjoy in great health!
Eh, there is quite a few of us on here hoping this works out!
Keep in mind in this contract, their is a clause that you agree to, that if the deal doesn’t fund, you either unwind it or re-sign it. I only mention this because earlier you alluded to:
We see this a couple of times a month on LeaseHackr where the dealer utilizes this clause. Most of the time it’s a clerical error or a $20 month difference and the lessee utilizes their contractual rights to either unwind or re-sign.
I’m personally hoping it turns out 1yr/12k was an option this whole time and certain brokers have been fleecing the 1yr/15k for years!
Aww, man, that would be crazy. But the contract I can confirm clearly states 12 months so
I have a Cayenne S, they wouldn’t let me do less than 15k miles, so I think that’s legit.
I’m sure the 1yr/15k is very real, but that outcome would be so much less exciting!
Hey you cant go wrong with 15k on a porsche, thats best part about it. You get to enjoy car and not stare at it in garage when you opt out for 7.5k miles to save money
It was never and is still not an option, even if he get’s it, it would because of what @wam22 said where maybe maybe they will just let the dealer eat the 2 point difference and let it fly but someone is paying that difference.
I found the 1yr/12k Porsche…
Yea this makes even less sense. They’re going to regret doing the deal once you post the contract on here. Regardless you got a great deal.
Congrats !
Either way it would be contracted at the lower residual and correct mileage.?
now thats a good one
I’m definitely blocking out all the dealer’s info. This thread has mostly been about people calling it a fake deal and how it’s not possible. I have them working on another “fake deal” for me, and I won’t risk losing that from the same folks who will probably hound them once the deal gets posted.
Many of us already know the car and the dealer. Pretty simple investigative work
Good idea nonetheless
Happy hunting!
I’m not hunting lol, no interest
I’m just waiting for the contract to be posted showing the correct residual and 15k miles
And when it shows 12k?
Then someone will have a made a mistake that someone else paid for, I don’t get what’s not clear about it, 12/12k is not a possible scenario, but maybe Porsche will let them just pay the difference instead of forcing re-contracting.
