What is the max age before driving one of these makes you look ridiculous?

Asking for a friend.

When he can’t get in/out of it, I guess.

That video is just as irrelevant as it is funny.

Apologies to @tieroneleasing for hijacking the thread.

My post was only partially tongue-in-cheek.

I showed this thread and a picture of the i8 to my spouse, who declared that it would be too embarrassing (“screams midlife crisis”) to drive to work on days I needed the other car.

Spouse is 41.

YMMV.

I understood and was joking. Had the same dilemma while thinking about possibly leasing X2.

Interested in the coupe if available

Thanks!

Have your spouse take an i8 for a test drive. My spouse is slightly younger and she loves the car.

The X2 is also worth a test drive. It’s very practical (possibly the best value offered by BMW) and a lot of fun to drive. There are those with their cons but I think the pros outweigh those.

But as you said, YMMV.

Is the i8 deal available in CA? Seems not but figured I’ll ask anyways.

Hey I can check what’s left with the 430GCs. There was only a handful when I checked last week. Do you have a BMW in the household? How many miles/year do you need? What is your zip code?
