Jeep Gladiator for $143/month. 90% Residual? Possible? thanks pop

FYI for anyone genuinely interested in any Jeep check out Tread Lightly - https://www.treadlightly.org/join-tread-lightly/

They offer different levels of paid membership for discounts and offers but for a $100 yearly membership (or $250) you get 1% below factory invoice pricing on what seems to be any Jeep model. Now 1% below invoice isn’t necessarily hard to achieve, but I have heard dealers will add the 1% discount onto whatever they are offering as their “best price”. I’m sure this varies from dealer to dealer but worth a shot if you obtain a membership 30 days before purchase.

Yea Tread lightly helped me get this deal below. Might get a gladiator next if deals are this good.

What a shocking lack of discounts, high payment and unbearably long term.

Enjoy your new jeep though.

How is that a high payment? Show me if you can do better on a Rubicon wrangler.

This lease will have equity at end or will be swapped.

Anyone know a good selling price to aim for (% off MSRP) on the new Gladiators? I’m looking at the Sport or Sport S. Thanks!

@RVguy any input on the logic behind how FCA arrived at 90%?

You can try for invoice, or less.

Will you get it? Depends how much of a shrewd negotiator you are…

Yes, they have none. This is riverboat gambling at its finest in my field. Especially with the MSRPs as high as they are. They start with ALG values and take it from there.

I have an adversion to short term leasing in general because the data is so thin with that age range so you don’t have enough historical data to know where real market prices are.

I’d rather grab some popcorn and watch the losses from a safe distance.

If you can grab one for super cheap monthly and have a reasonable use for it, why not?

I meant from the standpoint as a lender. As a consumer, go for the best deal possible with a term you can live with. Depending on the cash rebates and dealer discounts, sometimes a 60mo lease works out to a screaming payment and you can trade out with equity in 36mo.

So what is a reasonable monthly payment?

~$280/ month tax-in

For me? Free with 0 deductible auto insurance included as I have no need for something like this.

For someone who could use it? Maybe $200/mo at that RV.

This could be a good Tacoma alternative…

Manual and 4wd …beat it up for 2 yrs at a monthly of $200 all in on a $40k sticker

Saw one on the road the other day. Hideous. But for that price I would drive it

How does one find the actual dealer invoice price on a particular vehicle?

Ask the salesperson.

I get CDJ dealers down here that use fake MSRPs when advertising cars, I doubt they’d actually tell me invoice if I ask, but I’ll try

also sport and overland seem to be best RV so far on Edmunds (depending on location) so far

Hi, what is the MF, residual and lease and loyalty credits for a 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon with 39/ 12k? BC

Your best bet is to Google “2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon MF”, find the specific Edmunds forum, and post this question there. Make sure to include your zip code as well, and you should have an answer pretty quick from the folks over there.
