It be nice if BMW snobs stopped trolling Japanese car, owners on the forum

It would be nice if BMW fanboys stayed in their lane and stopped trolling Japanese car, owners on the forum and trying to trash their car deals? Instead of being helpful or informative.
And fyi. Yes my payment on a new Sport Touring Civic is $400.
Without Tax title and fees its alittle over $300
with zero down

So deal with it.

I love how the mods on here don’t keep trolls in check but instead close forums.
And how these trolls like to brag about paying less for a $50-60000 car when in reality its not a 2020 or current but a loner or older model.

Honda rules!

To provide a little more clarification this website is about people buying deals instead of buying cars. Focus on the car you want and then try to get the best deal possible as long as it fits in your budget.
My dealership has a customer 3-4x a week that is buried in negative equity because they bought a deal instead of a car and want to get out of it after 6 months.

First, the premise of this site is to inform others of the best lease deal possible for the money.
Second, $400/mo for a $29k Civic is a horrible lease deal, not just by LH standards.
Third, I agree that the BMW fanboys should be nicer, but this is the internets and they have a point when they are driving a $50k car for less monthly payment than you.

If you want others to drink the Kool Aid and fawn over your Civic, then I suggest trying the Civic forums. This isn’t the place for warm/fuzzies. The vultures on here can be brutal. Deal with it

You do have a very valid point. People often are being assholes and mean, but hey its the internet.

On the other hand it’s hard to compare a well-optioned 2020 3 series and a civic, even if it’s Sport Touring

I totally agree. I got the best deal with in my budget in my area at the current time on this car. And its value at turn in as long as I take good care of it is going to get me into an even better deal into a even nicer car. I don’t need anyone making me feel bad about it.

I get what you’re saying but compared to what others are paying for a BMW I didn’t put anything down or pay upfront and the taxes and fees count for about $40 worth of the payment. BMW lessees are prepared to put a down payment.
Overall I’m happy with what I got. It fits my budget and my needs. And the car holds its value towards a new contract at turn in.

I have a BMW and two Japanese cars.

How does this impact who I can (and cannot) troll?

At the end of the day, if you are happy with your deal/car, then don’t worry about BMW snobs.

Regarding BMW deals on this site, most deals are for loaners and include BMW loyalty (could be an extra $2k off selling price), MSDs and other incentives. If I recall, Honda only recently introduced a loyalty rebate (about $750).

EDIT: Most of these BMW deals are for 10k miles per year instead of 12k miles.

So if I get a bad deal on something, then post on the interwebs asking strangers how my deal is, and they all point out that it is a bad deal, I should be butthurt. Noted.

Just throw an Alfa in for $299 in the mix

Brand new, $44K, $375mo, true 0 DAS.

Enjoy your Civic.

Do you mean drive off? A lot of people roll the drive off into monthly payment, and only pay security deposit when they sign the car, but they will get it back at the end of the lease which equals to 0 due.
What people are saying, since Honda holds their value well, generally people just buy them out right and sell them w/e they want to, and won’t lose that much of $$$.
For leasing, BMW will makes more sense due to higher MSRP and equality the same monthly payment as yours, well all depends on the area, at least in CA that’s the case.

How is $365 + taxes, fees with 0 down on a 2020 Civic hatch back Sport Touring a bad deal? Because its not a BMW, or a different car?
And to clarify I don’t have a problem with someone saying they don’t think I got a good deal.
I have a problem with being insulted. Everyones entitled to their opinion.

Going on the interweb to seek approval is a terrible idea. Just go out for a drive and enjoy it since Honda is not transferable anyways.
